Bath Rugby Youth Teams

BYR send congratulations to last season (2007-08) Colts scrum-half, Tom KESSELL in his recent rugby achievements.

Towards the end of last season, whilst still playing for Bath Youth Rugby Colts, Tom joined the Bridgwater & Albion Development Squad, and during the closed season, Tom has transferred his allegiance to Newbury Blues Rugby (Division One) and is in pre-season training with the Newbury Blues Squad, where Tom joins another former Bath Youth Rugby player prop/hooker Mark LILLEY (also Bath Rugby Academy). BYR wish Mark & Tom well at Newbury Blues in season 2008-09.

Congratulations to last season’s (2007-08) Bath Youth Rugby hooker Ollie HAYES (also Bath Rugby Academy), Ollie has joined Bristol Rugby (Premiership) and will be playing his development rugby with Dings RFC. In August 2008, Ollie played for Bristol Rugby at Twickenham in the 2008 Middlesex Sevens. A great start to his season, BYR wish Ollie well in season 2008-09.

Further BYR congragulations to two former Bath Youth Rugby players Guy MERCER and Ed JACKSON (both Bath Rugby Academy), both of whom represented Bath Rugby (Premiership) in the 2008 Middlesex Sevens at Twickenham, with Ed scoring a try against Bristol Rugby! http://www.bathrugby.co.uk/23_9172.php

Finally, on Saturday 23rd August 2008, Ed JACKSON (8), Mark LILLEY(2), Guy MERCER (bench), appeared on the Rec together as Bath United defeated Redruth. Congragulations guys!
